I might have mentioned previously that we love a good review, but this review from Mark Cowell was a particularly good one. So, we thought we’d share it with you. Enjoy!
Craz-E times…- dining experiences and cookery courses.

It would be a fair assumption to make that, in America, bigger is often better. If you have ever felt the burn whilst trying to polish off a mixed grill or force down the remainder of a Big Mac meal, then please avert your eyes- this blog post is not for the weak of heart or delicate of stomach.
Combine a meat patty stuffed to turgidity with its own fat, two rashers of bacon and a smattering of molten cheese- all contained within the trappings of a sweet doughnut- and you have the Craz-E burger. Created by ‘accident’ by a restaurant chef who had run out of bread baps, the Craz-E burger is currently taking the States by storm.

Fancy a cup of tea...anyone?
We’ve all had our fair share of unusual dinner guests. Whether it’s the Uncle with the worst manners known to man or the Cousin who refuses to eat anything other than tinned tomatoes and bread, there are someone people who eat like…well, they eat like animals. However, I’m sure none of us have had a guest as unusual as one particular group of diners. Wildlife enthusiasts exploring the Arctic Island of Svalbard had their lunch interrupted recently – by a hungry Polar Bear!

We’ll be honest – the majority of the staff here at Buyagift don’t reside in palaces or stately homes. Granted, we’re not living in Dickensian-era squalor, but most of us are prone to leaky taps, broken microwaves and gaudy colour schemes. Put simply, when we sit down for a cup of tea, we’re not greeted by the aroma of delicious pastries and the sight of rolling hills – think more PG Tips and television screens. Read more

Home to a thirteenth century cathedral, vast concert Arena and prolific chart-toppers Arctic Monkeys, Sheffield has come a long way from its industrial roots. No longer famed solely for its steel production and bob-a-job dad strippers (who hasn’t seen Peter Cattaneo’s ‘The Full Monty’?), Sheffield is one of the UK’s most up-and-coming cities. Why not round off your visit to Sheffield with a tea-time extravaganza, courtesy of the Aston Sheffield Hotel? After all, no one quite makes a cuppa like they do Up North…

It’s pretty safe to say that most of us are feeling the pinch at the moment and are possibly not spending as much as we normally would. However, there are only so many nights one can stay in nursing a bowl of 7p noodles whilst watching mediocre soaps and cursing Northern Rock. There is a very fine line between frugality and madness. In times of drama, look no farther than a llama…

Next patient please...
Could a llama trek really be the end to your woes? For years, experts have believed that pets are the ‘thing’ to help elevate your mood. American psychologist Teri Wright swears by pet therapy, and proudly boasts two guinea pigs of her own- Zac (short for Prozac) and Dex (short for ADHD treatment drug, Dexedrine). Pets, she claims, ‘make you feel important, like you matter’.
More recently, a Colorado Hospice has hit the newspapers after welcoming ‘life enhancing’ llama, Pisco, into the fold as a means of entertaining residents. If you could do with a Pisco in your life, then look no further than our selection of llama riding experiences for an instant- and lovable- lift. Read more

You may have had Afternoon Tea at Harrods, you may even have taken a crumpet or two at Fortnum and Mason’s but hands up if you’ve ever been around to The Queen’s House?
